FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Solutions Technologies

Solutions Technologies is a line of products that are new to the GSS line up, the following is brief description of these new products Maxx-Bond 1, Maxx-Bond 2, and DRY-SHRINK. These solutions are so popular that one of the industry biggest sellers of film tools and supplies now carries all of these solutions. Performance Tools

  MAXX-Bond 1

MAXX-Bond 1 solution was developed for those who install flat glass window tint and occasionally have to install safety film as well, MAXX-Bond 1 will provide the installer very similar properties to that of Secure-Bond, MAXX-Bond is a pre-mixed and contaminate free, Ready-To-Use solution, but with a slightly less of aggressive chemical bonding process taking place.

MAXX-Bond 1 will work great with all types of flat glass tinting application and will not harm or distort metal films, using MAXX-Bond will help eliminate the common problems that are associated  with film installations, i.e. delamination, demetallization, film lift, cloudiness, and many more problems that come from trying to mix your own mounting solution at the jobsite or warehouse.

MAXX-Bond 1 is a All-In-One, Ready-To-Use solution, so you will not have to worry about mixing the correct amount of a concentrate together and the problems that occur when do mix to much or to little.

MAXX-Bond 1 is made with contaminate free chemicals and filtered distilled water to insure the highest quality solution is ready for you to use at your finger tips.

MAXX-Bond 1 is designed to do the job from start to finish, you can use MAXX-Bond 1 to clean, mount, and bond your films to glass with out the use of any other glass cleaning products that can cause problems when mixed with the films adhesives.

MAXX-Bond 1 will also decrease the total cures times of the films being install dramatically and has be specifically designed to work with all acrylic adhesives that are used on the most popular films that are on the market today.

                    MAXX-Bond 2

MAXX-Bond 2 has all the great features of its brother MAXX-Bond 1, however MAXX-Bond 2 was specifically developed to be used with automotive window tint.

MAXX-Bond 2 is designed to give the automotive tinter the easy of use at having only one product that needs to be used to install window tint film, just like its brother, MAXX-Bond 2 will give a deep cleaning of the glass to prepare it for the film, and once the film is ready to be installed this specially designed solution will give the automotive window tinter the time that is needed to work that film into place, even in very hot conditions where normal soap and water solution start to dry out and cause the film to stick MAXX-Bond 2 will keep it slippery and allow more time to get the film into position.

MAXX-Bond 2 will also help with the hard to work with "dot matrix" problem. The bonding properties of MAXX-Bond 2 causes the film to suck down tighter against the glass during the chemical bonding process and some of those job you had to paint or sand down the dots should not be a problem.

MAXX-Bond 2 is made by the same high quality standards of our other solutions, and a automotive window tinter can now take advantage of the faster curing times with less problems of delamination that can happen after the automobile leaves your shop and the customer decides to roll the widows down before the allotted time. When properly installed MAXX-Bond 2 will normally cut your cure time down to half the time that you are use to.

Heat Shrinking Solution

DRY-SHRINK is a fantastic "NEW" product that is exclusive to GSS, with keeping our finger on the pulse of the filming industry GSS discovered the need for a better and more efficient means to heat shrink curved glass, especially when it comes to automotive installations. MAXX-Bond Solutions work great with the method mostly used now which is call "Wet" heat shrinking, this method is probably the most widely used, but does have its limitation when it come to more extremely curved glass and can be very time consuming.

Over the past few years GSS has experimented with several different methods and have found that a fairly new method to the filming industry call "Dry" heat shrinking has been gaining popularity and seems to be a more proficient way to heat shrink. However GSS found that the products available to perform this method was limited, very messy and could cause problems with clean up.

GSS decided to put our same experience, knowledge and success that we have experienced with our other solutions to coming up with a another industry first. After an in-depth study of different types of compounds that would give the kind of results we were looking for, GSS developed "DRY-SHRINK". With DRY-SHRINK we were now able to have complete controlled amount of solution being applied to the glass with little or no waste and DRY-SHRINK is a breeze for clean up.

What DRY-SHRINK does is after being applying to the glass and allowed to dry, DRY-SHRINK creates a thin slightly tacky layer that when film is place on the glass will start to suck the film down as you start to work the film and hold it there. This does two thing for the installer; number (1), it allows the installer now to heat shrink a much larger area than wet heat shrinking which only lets you shrink 1 or maybe 2 fingers at one time, with DRY-SHRINK your can heat a much larger area of film and work several fingers at one time. Number (2) with DRY-SHRINK  now holding the film tight against the glass you will find now that you can shrink not just from left to right or from bottom to top (depending on how you cut the film) but in both directions which mean you can now mold and shrink the film to fit extremely curved pieces of glass with just one piece of film.

The benefits do not stop there, since you can work larger areas your time to heat shrink will be diminished, that mean your production will increase, cost for labor will decrease, and wasted film due to heat shrinking problems will be a thing of the past.

DRY-SHRINK will work with any polymer film from standard tinted films to the extra thick safety and security films.
